Cousin has one and it's a shooter. Seems the mags are shit as he developed a major feeding problem and found they've discontinued (Rem) them. They're going on e-bay for around 70 bucks. He was able to boil the spring, stretch it out a bit and tweak the cheap assed "tabs" which hold it in place; which fixed the problem. (and the rattling slop ?!...)

1. WTF Remington?!

2. The (.30/06) mag is marked "long" action. I thought lengths were "short", "standard" and "magnum" for "legacy" rds. Am I jacked up?

C. Anyone in NDA land have similar experience? I know it's a "knock about" gun: It still should be reliable. As said above; it's a shooter: Back during the "ammo shortage" I shot a "nickel" group @100 with a Power Point, CoreLokt and the comparable Federal shell(?)--150grn; with this rifle. It was a great day to shoot: No wind: No "anything": Gray sky and "heavy air" just before a front: Should've been fishing.

4. That is all.

At the current time there are ZERO vids available to disassemble the mag^^^^. My cousin could become an internet sensation by making a peanut butter sandwich with commentary then explaining his experience with 770 magazines.

He could also paint a lawnmower blade and reveal his disdain for acidic soil. There are a few options.

Blind internal magazines don't fall out and don't accidentally trip open. Sign me up for the ADL-esque system upon any bolt action platform.

I carry one in the pipe and never more than two in the mag. I like the ability to drop the plate, catch the rds then eject the "hot" one. I realize this is an option with detachables. My floorplate won't get lost or develop the issues in the OP.

Also; who the hell wouldn't prefer ADL?...It took me a minute...šŸ˜¬ Remington walked a fine line with "economical" and cheap POS with this 770.
