1250 AM CST Update: Elevated Water Levels are being observed on the Missouri River through Bismarck and Mandan. These elevated conditions are the result of jagged ice restricting flow in the channel and local runnoff from snowmelt. The river has been steady to slowly fall early this morning with a 1 am CST stage around 12 ft, which is 2 feet below flood stage at Bismarck. Well above freezing high ...temperatures are forecast this week, which is expected to slowly erode the ice leading to lower water levels.
