The birds left early this year in my neck of the woods. I haven't saw a robin in months.
We saw very few since the first clutch.

It's like they only clutched once instead of two-three times.

I wondered if they didn't head north - and we'll see them come back through in large flocks this fall.

Well I had one in the shop this morning that decided he didn't want to leave. So there is at least one around...

Yet in the spring (and before spring) they come back when its cold. If i had wings --- i would leave next week and you wouldnt see me until June 1.

Hummin birds ---- they leave for cancun area ---- thats unbelievable --- no wonder they havent perfected foward facing sonar yet -- they fly too many miles :)

I’ve decided robins are way tougher than I always assumed they were. Sometimes they’re back a month before it’s half decent… cold wet ####y March and they’re here in droves.
