I did get to spend the entire day on the lake 630-830, it was gorgeous out. Actually a lot of boats on the water also.
5 min in and this girl smacked my jig. :fishon:

Looks like the WIND finally loosens and a number of good days on the outlook! I feel lucky that I locked in reservations up at Van Hook for a long Father's Day Wknd and not have to battle white caps or 95 degree temps. Four, and say again, FOUR (Thurs - Sun) straight days of winds 20mph or less and temperatures in the 70's. That's a good feeling! Some leeches and worms should add up well for the bite.

I haven't been up to the Hook in over 5yrs so I may require a little help. I'll have to buy a map at the resort so I know the names of the islands and local slang. When Vollmer said he was by Gull Island.... I was sitting here thinking to myself, "where is Gull Island?" lol

Any hawgs will be photographed and posted. Grilled brats and steaks for the menu, and plenty of water, beer, etc. for dessert.
