SCI - New ND Chapter Meeting in Fargo

Dear Fellow Hunters,

You are invited to join us for a Safari Club International Chapter information and organizational meeting in the Fargo area. As you know, hunting is constantly under attack from ill-informed but well-funded groups all around the globe. That’s just one reason people join SCI, SCI is the leaders in protecting the freedom to hunt and promoting wildlife conservation worldwide.

Forming a chapter here in this area is not only a great way to strengthen hunting around the world, but we can make a real difference right here in North Dakota. SCI Chapters are structured in a way that allows them to spend the majority of the money raised at the chapter level on local projects. And getting readily involved is how you can do your part to protect and preserve our Hunting heritage in the Unites States.
We are also planning to have a great prize for those who come to the meeting and sign up as SCI and North Dakota Chapter members; a Montana Extreme Weather rifle in .300 win. mag. (Scope not Included)

Don't let the name "Safari" fool you - these guys/gals are hunting enthusiasts/advocates locally as well.

For those of you looking for a group that very effectively "pushes back" on anti-hunting pressures, this is a good group to sign up with.

From what I know about SCI it's a great organization for the outdoor people. Not sure I could have made it to Fargo with a month's notice but hearing about the meeting a day before assures I won't make it. For the organizers it might be interesting to have more meeting throughout the state. Especially if the Fargo meeting is successful.

That's unfortunate - tonight is also the MinnDak Chapter of the RMEF "Tines, Taps & Touchdowns" event at the BLVD Pub on Veterans Blvd in West Fargo. Starts at 6pm and goes to the end of the Vikings game. 5 gun raffle - only 300 tickets sold (about 15 tickets left), 2 gun winner take all raffle (only 100 tickets ) and several other raffles and drawings through out the game - 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th quarter prizes as well.
The SURLY Brewing Co of Bismarck will be in the house with half price bottles of wine and 1$ off Moscow Mules......

Come join the fun - the $$$ raised by the RMEF State Chapters does stay in ND - RMEF sponsors several High School Trap programs along with a number of youth programs throughout the state..........
