I rarely score deer so I'm not a good judge really, for the most part score means very little to me. Like the big buck contests just don't intrest me, got a couple that probably would have done pretty well at almost any competition back in the day. But to each their own.

Same.

It as if the hunter somehow had something to do with that buck growing a big set.

Had a big buck contest I attended several years ago, it was the longest, shittiest, most boring run event I have ever attended. I believe it was all just a scam to get guys in the bar, and take as long as possible to measure, etc to get everyone drinking more.

nice deer, the whole horn thing has ruined deer hunting, I miss the old guys that would just shoot everything that came out of the bush on deer drives.

Yeah if its brown its down, chase the shit out of the deer to get them into the open, take all running shots and if they keep running just shoot at another something or someone will find it if I don't was so much better.

I prefer the way I hunt and I actually miss the people that used to push deer because they would push them onto our land and then after they cooled their jets for a few days my odds of seeing them to get a shot went up

And those are the same people that complain every year I never shoot a big deer.

Deer drives are the jump shooters of the snow goose world
