i once left a perfectly good tent at wefest. I deemed it worth the money to just buy another new tent rather than have to take it down in the confused, mush brained state i was in that morning. #dumb

That's exactly what I did. Over three days, two of the three poles snapped and I was left with a half-propped up mosquito net. As we awoke that Sunday morning, we figured whatever minutes we could shave off the trip back to Minneapolis was well worth it. After all, this was in between finals weeks. We had to study at some point.

I still laugh to this day about walking into the showers to see three grown men, lathering their ass cheeks up Mr. Deeds style. As I decide to find another shower, one turns around and its a friend from high school.

For those of you that don't know the mr. deeds reference:

Did they put some more lots in over the fall/winter? I got one of the last ones in July last yr.

True that on the channel a campground. Don't know wtf wally is thinking. I was gonna suggest minnewaukan too. Someone beat me to it. If you are coming from West of there and don't care if you are close the the metropolis, the minnewaukan will save you some time and the fishing is great. They don't sell gas in that town though for some God forsaken reaso5.

I believe there are some open in the new area on the east side. There are quite a few for sale as well at Haybale.

Really? I think Centennial is about that price and electricity is included. Granted they have no water or even a dang dump station. Oh yeah and half the seasonal lots are in what looks like a trailer park. Nice people that run it, but I'm glad I don't have to worry about that anymore.

Vollmer, consider the lots in Douglas bay that Mike Matteson is the realtor for. They're 32k ish and you can park a camper on them or build something down the road if you prefer. Rural water on site.

There will be 12-14 camper lots available for sale in Pick City later this summer. No utilities on the lots currently. Lots will be 75x200 and 87x200. Prices will be pretty reasonable.... $15-17.5k per lot.

You mean you haven't sold those yet, what's the hold up?

No, we've sold some already. The ones that sold did not allow campers since they were within city limits. They needed stick built homes, modulars, trailers or live in quarter type shops.
