So what's special about seating the berger bullets? I've been reloading for quite a while, but never reloaded any bergers. Just curious why I would need anything special to load them as opposed to any other bullet that I've loaded.

check your die if the die is first making contact at the tip of the bullet you will get inconsistent seated bullets. prolly not to the eye but will notice the difference the further out you shoot. i buy redding dies and just modify them so that they first make contact at the ogive not the tip.

i also measure every single bullet i load off my press with a comperator so i have a bit of ADHD for consistency....

kentucky is right on,
run em close to the lands but not into them unless you want a stuck bullet and and brass full of powder in your hunting gun if you dont fire the round. after a couple hundred rouunds your gonna have to chase the lands ( seat em further out) as the throat will erode.
