Smelt, what do they look like?

I will be heading up to Lake Sakakawea in the next month and want to tie up some jigs and was wondering if anyone knows or has a picture of what the smelt in that lake look like? Ive looked on line but not sure I am looking at the strain that is in Sakakawea. THX!

5-8 inch rainbow smelt

They look different alive than dead. They lose the purple sheen when dead.
