Got a pair last fall after one ride in a boat equipped with them. I am very pleased with them. I did look into other brands out there as well, but in the end my choice was smooth move ultra.

I have Smooth Moves Ultra in my new boat. I would definitely recommend them. They are pricey, but very awesome. I just wish the rebound had a bit of a damper in it.

I was on the fence on what to put in my boat a couple years ago and I went with the Wave Pros over the smooth moves. I'm not going to knock smooth move because they do make a good product but to me the Wave Pro looks cleaner and doesn't have the harsh rebound/buck you off that the smooth move sometimes does.

I think either of these will make your days on the water way more enjoyable. I like the look and idea of the WavePro but I don't care for the fact that there is seals in it, adjusting the air, carrying an air pump ect. As for the Smooth Moves, they are big and bulky and they are a bit loud and the whole rebound, buck that they are known for. However they rebound/buck less when they are properly adjusted.

I personally Run the Smooth Moves, Last year I ran the Wave Pro. I switched back to Smooth Moves for the ease of adjusting for different body weights and the locking mechanism is really important when going on Big water, The wave pros give you a good core exercise when your butt is twisting left and right on 4 footers. Smooth Moves just lock forward and go up and down, take the time to adjust them and they are beautiful. If anyone sees the Crank Caddy, Yellowstone River Inn, Sam's Supper Club, Smooth Moves Seats boat on the Ramp walk over I will take you for a ride if I am not headed somewhere.

I have sold quite a few of the smooth moves ultras this year and have had nothing but very good feedback. All of the guys i have seen again, said they love them. I have looked at the wave pros, and have been concidering selling them as well. The drawback i see with them is in the way they adjust. They do take up less room though. The nice thing about the smooth moves is they can easily be transfered to a different boat if you sell the one you are currently running. They are expensive, but will give you many years of service and comfort.

Another vote for smooth moves, I've had mine for two years and they are required equipment IMHO.

Very good customer service and easily adjustable... Plus they are a supporting partner for the NPAA. You will see them in many top pro's boats because they simply work, and don't fail.

I could see how the rebound and spring noise could bother some people. But on days when the prop is coming out of the water, spring noise and rebound are not what I'm paying attention to.

Second year with smooth moves love them and worth the money. Easy adjustment for different size people. The wife doesn't mind riding in some chop now. I don't have a glass boat and they make the ride 100% better.

Thanks guys. Pulled the trigger this morning. They were in the boat in 45 minutes. Wife said Merry Christmas for the rest of your life. She will like them as she has a bad back. I like them already as at 5/5 205 I gained additional height.

So you must have a cabin or camping spot in the NW Angle? You fish LOW and you JUST bought these seats. Your back is gonna love you!
