crappy lighting conditions and sitting behind it for hours is where i have seen the real difference. A game changer for me has been binos on the tripod even my cheap binos it makes a huge difference. I am contemplating a set of 15's on the tripod would be tough to beat for finding game. When i win the lottery i will have the swaro 95 with the btx eye piece.

I had a 10 year old Cabelas Euro (Meopta) that broke last summer. I replaced it with a 85mm angled Vortex Razor and was immediately disappointed with the razor. I though my dirty 10 year old Meopta was just as good or better then the brand new Razor. I replaced the Razor with a used Swaro ATM for not much more and much happier.

You didn't state your budget, but you can find good deals on used Swaros and would not shy away from buying used with a good warranty. If I was buying new, I would also consider a Kowa as they supposedly awesome optics for the price.
