Anyone ever spray the inside of your portables sled with Rhino lining or something similar, and did it work, or would I be wasting my time? The reason I'm asking, is I bought a new sled for my Clam Voyager, and was thinking of spraying a white bed liner type product in the inside of the sled. I understand that the plastic would have to be really clean in order for this to stick. Thanks!

If the purpose is to protect the inside of the sled or make it less slippery, I would try that rough sandpaper type tape you can just put on. It wouldn't be necessary to protect the grooves of the sled as only the tops get any wear at all. A spray on bed liner material is, or was, pretty spendy when I used it a couple years ago for touch up on my truck bed so treating the grooves would be a waste IMO. Good Luck and have fun with the new toy.

i put a piece of shower wall in the bottom of mine... to keep the bolts from my hifax runners from ruining any more of my gear... a 1/4" piece of plywood or even some foam insulation would work well also

Was thinking more for making the bottom white\lighter as the black is kind of dark, especially when the sun starts to set, or in the morning before it comes up.

Reflective insulation rolled out and glued or stapled into place would make things brighter.

if you have this done by a pro, make sure he tests something like it first... regular pro applied spray foam insulation will twist up a 26 ga steel sheet if it is not secured... spray foam also reaches bout 300* as it cures, and it is very close to polyurea in application, so check on the curing temp b4 hand so you don't wreck the sled... pro applied spray foam could ruin it...

the set up i used for foam could also b used for polyurea, but i never sprayed any because of the cleaning required to switch back and forth...

Guys thanks for the info, but this is the inside bottom of a Clam flip over plastic sled. Not a permanent fish house.

I cut a white piece of carpet. Deadens the sound if something dropped and seems to keep it warmer, and stuff from sliding around . Take out and shake when needed.
