I believe the window to apply opens January 1stso do we still need to apply for a property tax credit, or is that a thing of the past now.........
If my understanding is correct, I think Missouri does this at least on motor vehicles.Wait till other states learn they can get away with this type of bullshit!
Clay county sheriff over in MN is getting a 14% raise. 10% on top of 4% cost of living increase.Just watched the news...wonder why taxes go up? GF sheriff i believe it wa iss such a hard worker he is now getting a raise to around $180k per year...thats just nuts..
As long as he is not scared of acorns he should be able to retire at that incomeJust watched the news...wonder why taxes go up? GF sheriff i believe it wa iss such a hard worker he is now getting a raise to around $180k per year...thats just nuts..
That could have been what it was..i just seen sheriff and $180k per year and was like wtf! I cant believe people are okay with that.Clay county sheriff over in MN is getting a 14% raise. 10% on top of 4% cost of living increase.
Have you managed multiple employees, a fleet of vehicles and equipment, deal with the scum of society, work in a high stress and potentially deadly work environment, on call basically 24/7, safety/concern of your county on your mind, etc etc? When you think about it like that it's not that outrageous. That could have been what it was..i just seen sheriff and $180k per year and was like wtf! I cant believe people are okay with that.
Certain people think they know it all.Have you managed multiple employees, a fleet of vehicles and equipment, deal with the scum of society, work in a high stress and potentially deadly work environment, on call basically 24/7, safety/concern of your county on your mind, etc etc? When you think about it like that it's not that outrageous.
You get what you pay for. Do you want a county sheriff that makes $80k/yr?That could have been what it was..i just seen sheriff and $180k per year and was like wtf! I cant believe people are okay with that.
Hey if your okay paying that by all means start a go fund me for him..i dont believe that type of salary is necessary for that position. Making as much as the Gov is not looking out for the peoples money. Shit the average deputy sheriff makes $70k..he is over double the rate. You can think its ok and justify it anyway you want but it will not change my mind. I believe Kelly lieben is around $160k a year and inwould argue he has alot more to do then GF sheriff...Have you managed multiple employees, a fleet of vehicles and equipment, deal with the scum of society, work in a high stress and potentially deadly work environment, on call basically 24/7, safety/concern of your county on your mind, etc etc? When you think about it like that it's not that outrageous.
Posted my response above...nope he should make more then a deputy sheriff but not double nor as much as the GOV of the state. You get what you pay for. Do you want a county sheriff that makes $80k/yr?
The governor's salary is symbolic. The money in that role comes from friends in high places.Posted my response above...nope he should make more then a deputy sheriff but not double nor as much as the GOV of the state.
And? Doesnt change my opinion. $180K for a sheriff is not being a good steward of the peoples money and a great example of why our taxes are nuts..you think that position is the only overpaid position..it all adds up...again my opinion. The governor's salary is symbolic. The money in that role comes from friends in high places.
