Clay county sheriff over in MN is getting a 14% raise. 10% on top of 4% cost of living increase.

Have you managed multiple employees, a fleet of vehicles and equipment, deal with the scum of society, work in a high stress and potentially deadly work environment, on call basically 24/7, safety/concern of your county on your mind, etc etc? When you think about it like that it's not that outrageous.
