I’ve been told by a couple buddies that know lots more about waterfowl than myself that this year was a really bad year for juvies. So hunting was expected to suck. Is that accurate?

Yup, went from one of the best hatches ever the year before to one of the worst.

Any updates? I'm assuming the birds are gone. We're supposed to head up to DL Wednesday afternoon for hunts Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I might bring my shore fishing stuff instead.

I would definitely be focused on the latter. Did run into a loaded corn field last night but the birds are nothing like they were a couple weeks ago.
