I have a 189 Pro V and I’m wondering what other guys are doing for landing net storage options?

I have the optional ski pylon but twice already this year I’ve bent nets - I keep forgetting to remove the net when fully left the motor and trailer the boat!!

Any any options out there besides to quit being a dumbass?

Thanks

I throw it on the floor and set the anchor on it and away we go. Haven't lost one or wrecked anything yet.

I have the walleye 108" version for the Toon. Great net even if it's a little on the heavy side.

Overall though, I don't know if I fully understand your dilemma. Are you storing your net vertical in a holder only to have the motor crunch it, or does the wind wreck it when you leave it in a holder?

Either way, I love being able to fold and store the net. Pricey investment, but while it's been many years ago, I have paid the price for having a cheap net that flies out of the boat at highway speed, or you simply bend the damn thing with a large pike or walleye.

Pvc pipe is your friend. Put it where you want the net and out of the way.

I hang mine on the bow seat when in transport. When I'm fishing, it comes off the seat and set on the bow floor. Works great in my 20ft Yar and worked fine in my old 18ft Warrior.
