Strikemaster Lithium VS ION

9 of us have ions of all generations and all are going strong with no issues. Blades hate sand and reopen holes on the houses great. Used a strikmaster with chipper flighting up on Lake of the woods and was impressed with it. Funny thing is they all drill holes. Pick the one that fits your budget and go fishing. Don't think you will go wrong with either 1. If your buddies have 1 or the other get that so you can just grab an extra battery in case you need it on a long day.

The blades on ions suck too. They might suck even more than strikemaster blades.

Have to get the ones made in Sweden and not China. At least for the strikemaster. I do not know on the Ion.

I would think so, I've opened a lot of holes with my Ion and haven't had any issues.

If it broke thru the hole, turn it in to Ion. They replaced mine free.
