I very much like the fact that Ted pushes back unapologetically on gun grabbers and anti-hunters.

Video cliff notes please.

baiting was legal in Michigan then it wasn’t and Ted said it should be . Now
next year it will be . They used the cwd boogie man to ban it the first time. There are no high fence at his Michigan place there is I. Texas along with most the state . In the end just another cut and paste of nothing

Ol' Uncle Ted...

I don't think they should change anything until there is stronger evidence linking CWD to baiting. It "can" effect cwd isn't strong enough for me to want to make any major changes...IMO

yall know the G&F would like to ban baiting completely, not because of disease, but based upon principal...

True....however NDG&F cannot do a Statewide blanket ban. Has to go through the legislature. NDG&F cannot introduce a Bill but do use their surrogates the ND wildlife federation and wildlife society to do that. These two orgs brought in some professional from "Michigan" to testify to their Bill back in I believe 2009. He talked for 30 minutes and shot holes in his own argument. The Bill went down in flames.

That was back in the day when fishingbuddy was the place to be and there was 55,0000 views to that thread.

"Nugent was quoted saying the baiting ban would 'chase hunting families out of the sport for absolutely no reason.' "

I think that's a bit of a stretch. If the ONLY way to shoot a deer is for you to put out bait, methinks you're not cut out to hunt anyway.

There is a field of turnips about a mile from my place that's 160 acres in size. Farmer must have had a lot of cheap seed to use as a cover crop.
