The DENNY Memorial 2021 Mobridge

Once again I fished the Denny in Mobridge. Worst showing for us so far. Regression to the mean I guess. I like fishing this tournament as the bite on OAHE is usually from Mobridge to Pollock which is right in my wheel house. Not this year. Hats off to the Olson boys!!! Once again they prove what can be achieved on OAHE we proper pre fishing hard work. Not one but TWO 9 lb fish for the over 20 slot fish!!! Simply incredible.

One thing out of memory is that 103 teams caught only 450 fish. (I think that was the number I heard.) And their total weight was 650. Pretty low numbers. 6 fish per team. Sounds like the bite was south. I'm hearing that the top 2 teams were in shallow about as far south as the boundary, which was the 212 bridge.

I fished down by the 212 bridge all week last week and the bite was tough. Mostly dink fish too. Never caught so many 8” fish.

That seems to be the story this year all up n down the lake.
