I’ve taken leave of my wits so me and the fam are going to Minnesota for the weekend with friends. Hopefully I can keep the permanent warm enough for the kiddos to fish.

Heading to the cabin near New Town and hopefully warm enough to sneak out a few times...gonna be out either way but always enjoy a couple stones or silver bullets without gloves on...

Seems I'm always wishing I'd have shot one in Sept, instead of waiting for a big one.

Holy shit you guys that are going to sit in the stand/blind are tougher than me!!

Going Gator Giggin'!!! Think Safety Guys. Batteries die quick in 30 below temps. Might want to start the trucks a couple times throughout the day if you're going to be out. I'll be braving the temps every couple hours to make sure the truck starts. Getting stranded with 50 below wind chills brings SUCK to a whole new level. Be safe fellas and good luck!!!!

It’s gonna be tough keeping the propane bottles pushing gas. Might have to bring the 20 pounder in the fish house.

I owned a wheel house and sold sob in 1998 after that brutal winter u take a weekend like this one it's just brutal
Bring multiple tanks of propane

Me too. Got the ground blind set up and will have the buddy heater along for sure!

If your hunting deer out of a ground blind this weekend should be pretty easy cause deer are going to want to crawl in there with you.
