This Weekend - Weather A+...Maybe!?

Don't want to jinx us, but today, tomorrow, and Sunday looking pretty good. Heading to Sak tonight and early tomorrow morning. Planning to fish between Douglas Creek and the embankment on the north shore. Looks like winds are forecasted to be mostly out of the northwest...nothing above 20mph. Hope most of you fellow NDA folks can get out and take advantage! I don't want to admit this, but I have already been pricing new ice fishing houses...yes, I just bit my tongue! Anyway, hope everyone has a great weekend and can put some fish in the boat!

Kidding of course. The weekend does look pretty fantastic. My sakakawea trip might get suspended since my father in law wants to go look at a boat in devils lake. I'll be sure to bring the rods with. Anyone on DL this weekend?

Knew it was too good to be true, northwest winds up to 21mph, means a hell of ride on the east side. Cannot wait to see how tomorrow's weather completely breaks down.

Yea...maybe I jinxed us with this post yesterday! I got out on Audubon this morning...stuck to the north shore...managed 4 eyes and a perch. Winds had probably gotten up over 20 with gusts when I got off the water.

I was out mowing lawn and had a quick little cell pop up...downpoured for 15 minutes or so. You never realize how slow your lawn mower goes until you're stuck in a downpour. Lol

Couldn't complain about the weather this morning...unless you wanted some wind! Was beautiful on the water...

Thanks for the Jinx on Saturday!!! Tried it anyway. Fishing was brutally slow. Only managed two keeper eyes. At the cleaning table, didn't see anyone with more than 3, except for the couple cleaning 9 salmon. One looked to be 14-15lbs and most of their 9 were probably 7-10 lbs.
