Can an American be called as such, cause when I was fishing in Winnipeg the guy we rented the house from was asking me my origins, and would not except United States of America as an answer, and after answering his question this way several times, he called me a mook and went on his way.
Not sure what a mook is either, but I guess it means American.

Beautiful country Sri Lanka, flew into Columbo about 8 years ago while they were still fighting in the north and stayed in a hotel on the east coast for a couple of days waiting for my ship to arrive. Warm, sunny and smelled a lot better than Mumbai.

Worked on a ship called the Kondor Explorer, it was Russian flagged and Russian/Ukrainian crewed. All these guys were x cold war sailors and Ukraine just got their independence a few years prior, lets just say that spark would fly every now and then.
