^^^^These streams are inordinately small.

The Tailrace Creek "could" be modified to facilitate all sorts of natural reproduction with flow rate mods and "universal" strata: Charge "15 bucks" for the "snake" walking tour over a series of wooden bridges with species to identify at appropriate times like "Bird Watching".

End the "walk" at a "pond" against the dam. This would in no way negate the need for the hatchery. It would provide G/F with data for improvement and tourist attraction. IM"H"O:

That is all.

I've always wondered if they could make a coldwater trout creek by pumping the cold water from the dam in Sakakwea into some creeks that flow back into the lake. Of course, they'd have more than just that, like adding gravel substrate, but it would be cool

That water is the perfect color for trout. Lots of food stirred up, so they're feeding: You also don't have to worry about your shadow and can use larger/easier to handle tackle. ^^^^sharpen the damn hook and don't jerk so fast. The texture of a "fly" can't be "that" much different than an insect. "Cheat" with a speck of PowerBait.
