hydraulic steering let loose on a triton
a buddy of mine had the same issue. from day one soon as he got up to about 40 mph trimmed up it would become unmanageable. major air in the system from the factory. took a lot of messing around to get it out. I just about had to make an adapter for my vacuum system to vac the air out.Holy shit. Thats wild. My last boat had an issue with it's hydraulic steering system. I was up on Darling hauling ass and apparently there was air in the hydraulic steering. 15 mph wind + a boat hauling ass with jacked up steering = boat bouncing side to side with fat guy driving it looking like he's riding the back of a bull... scariest trip on a boat that I've ever had. Wish I woulda had a camera cuz I'm sure I looked funny as hell bouncing all over.
