Tournament preparations/traditions

I was just curious to see if anyone has any corny habits they do before they fish a tourny. I reorganize and retied everything the night before to the point where i almost cant find it the next day and the night before i prefish I always have about 5 too many beers making so i cant over think the day. what ever works i guess.

Usually drink to much and not get enough sleep while nursing a 4 day hangover and sunburn.

Unfortunately, tourney fishing has become a big cheatfest.
I have been in a few, mostly just for the fun of it, and man do people get dirty trying to win a few bucks and some recognition.

The best was at one, when the guy that just won the tourney brags about catching all these fish, when in fact a few of his catch came from a buddies boat he was fishing next too, in plane sight of a few of us.

Tie bricks w/100' of cord to orange Tide bottles and drop them in random spots where the line may or may not allow the brick to reach the bottom.

Fishing Tournaments all suck big sweaty donkey balls, all of them.

Try to clean a week worth of mess out of the boat. Take a case of empty cans out of the live well.
