Nope, never had the pleasure of a staph infection. I would guess however, that in the chain of lakes that are the Boundary Waters Canoe Area, one little dew-drop wouldn't have much effect.

One thing I guess I should add, by way of explaining myself, is that we were canoeing for a week, and the black fly hatch had happened. The flies were not biting (thank GOD), but they were horrid. No way could I spend any more time in the woods, than absolutely necessary.
