Holy shit. Maybe he's implying shotguns are for more than ducks.

Fargo, ND

Fargo, like Billings, is one of the smaller cities on this list. But there is no way we could leave it off. Fargo is located in the heart of the Central Flyway, and North Dakota is known colloquially as the “Duck Factory.” The area is known for its prairie potholes, which can be successfully hunted by freelancers on public land. Field hunting can also be productive. Importantly, Fargo is just a two-and-a-half-hour drive from Devil’s Lake, a vast complex of shallow wetlands that draws thousands of migrating birds each year.

Interesting...............

You're not the only one John....
Might as well get the word out that devils lake is one of top 10 large mouth bass and musky fisheries in the country as well.

Fargo is a sportsman’s hell - I have regretted my move here - for decades.

Had it not been for a small biz started here in the 90s I would long ago have gotten my butt back out west where I belong.
Got stuck there for 17 years myself so it was more back n forth trips up north and to devils than I'd care to even imagine.. (Will always be able to say we put the hurt on 52nd and shit pond honks in the concrete jungle though.)

Only thing they should be on any kind of hunting list for is the big rodent with a paddle for a tail. Now that, they'd actually have a little bit of legitimacy for.

I could never move back. However I will say the jackrabbit hunting towards 52nd when there was nothing out there was the best in the state…
