Typical Ice Up?

Today is Friday morning. 36 hours ago I was still catching nice walleyes on crankbaits. Aside from it making it tough on the protesters, let's not hurry winter up. It will be within a couple of months, and most on here will be squawking about getting boats in the water, and can't take much more winter.

Nice...maybe tonight and tomorrow night with lighter winds an inch or two can form before the winds really pick up! Especially in the protected bays and smaller lakes...

This fall the weather has been great for open water...buddy and I had my little jon boat on Audubon last Saturday catching walleye and perch. Hard to believe we might be drilling holes in ice next weekend!

No I am from little Minneapolis back when it was more of an eastern Bismarck and slightly cool... haha

There was thin ice on a small damn by my house 2 days ago.... Going again today after work and poke at it again....2 years ago on November 27th there was 6-7" at blacktail ... goes to show how each year is a little different
