I butchered 2 pigs brought in all the hams and 4 slabs for bacon. This was nov 7 2015. Still haven't heard anything and it is jan17 2016. Is this wait normal for them. Seems a long time. The cooler only had 2 deer in it.

I'd call. Took 8 days for me to get my deer back from Charlies in minot. For reference, took 2 weeks for my elk at Meyers in Garrison....

Bacon only takes about a week or less to make. If stuff was frozen I could see them putting it in the cooler and forgetting about it. I would be making a call.

Ive had good luck with Valley Meat, it did take 2.5 months to get my deer back but also you get the same meat you took in back, unlike some butcher shops around. I would just call and ask instead of asking them through NDA

I've had good luck with valley meats but I've never been in a huge hurry to get any of it back. As long as it tastes good and it's my meat I brought in that I get back they can take all the time they want within reason of course. They make good jerky and the summer sausage wasn't too bad either.

I have had the best luck with West Dakota meats in New Salem over the years with both the last owner and the newest owners.
This for Beef slaughter and processing only, I do all my own deer processing.

Maybe try calling them instead of asking guys on a forum who cant do anything about it.

I've had nothing but good luck with Valley Meats. I've had stuff done elsewhere faster, 9but not as good and who knows who's deer I ended up with, but the guys at Valley have been very clear to me when I should expect my deer back. And its well worth the wait.

I have been to many places both minot and Bismarck and think valley is the best hands down as far as quality goes. it does take awhile to get food processed, but they have always been up front about that. I would not hesitate to call them about it and see whats up. we are all humans and make mistakes.
