Message: <blockquote data-quote="Allen" data-source="post: 419371" data-attributes="member: 389"><p>Went up to Van Hook to take my 86 yr old stepdad and brother-in-law out fishing.  We stayed mostly up in the very north end of Van Hook and pulled spinners with crawlers in 8-24 ft of water.  Most of our keeper eyes came shallow over by the old swimming beach area.</p><p></p><p>Here's our total catch over 8 hours on the water:</p><p></p><p>4 walleye, 18-19 inches</p><p>2 walleye between 13 and 14 inches</p><p>~10 walleye between 6 and 13 inches</p><p></p><p>1 carp, 8 lbs</p><p>1 catfish, about 22 inches</p><p>1 perch, 6 inches</p><p>3-4 smallies, between 14 and 15 inches</p><p>3 white bass, 10-12 inches</p><p>4 drum, 12-16 inches</p><p>5 goldeye, 14 inches and up</p><p></p><p>I am not sure I've ever caught this many different species in one outing before.</p></blockquote><p></p>
