Vasaline and Chapped Lips

Thought I'd share something I figured out yesterday after spending the entire day outside with a +15 MPH wind. Vasaline is the best chapped lip preventer. Screw chap stick. After 2 applications of vasaline- my lips remained supple and moist all day.

I've tried a lot of different products- not sure why I hadn't tried vasaline earlier in my life. Could have prevented years of pealing lips.

Split my bottom lip while paddledrinking this year and it SUCKED. Chap stick didn't help like I had hoped, so I'll be filing this little tidbit in the back of my brain files. Thanks!!

Use sunscreen and no worries. Vasaline doesn't have any spf.

Blistex with SPF is the way to go
