When the brats were almost done they went into a simmering cast iron pan of sautéed onions, sauerkraut, butter, and beer.

While we haven't had our deer drawn here yet, I was lucky enough to draw an elk tag. I think I'll make 25-30 pounds of those brats if I am fortunate enough to get an elk.
