The answer is absolutely yes when it comes to being faster than driving. It is with a 60+ mph boat also! Cost wise, being roughly 66 miles by water, and assuming each of those are a burning around 30 gallons per hour and assuming you can maintain 90 mph the entire route, I'd say about 44 gallons of premium @ $4.00/gallon at the marina and a 30-pack at $25 should put you right around $201. Don't forget tax on that 30-pack, lol.

FYI, I figured 90 mph would be a good cruising speed!

Also, by car, that's a 80 minute drive if you can average 75+ all the way........gonna be hell making that corner at hwy 23 and 83 at that speed
