I'm looking to replace my old feather heavy down comforter, so I'm looking for alternatives that members might use and like. Price will always depend on quality of the product as well as the overall benefits of the comforter.

Yeah I have been looking on line for a good quality comforter so I will keep looking perhaps will look for a down alternative option since the down ones after awhile from washing them tend to lost those little feathers everywhere.

My daughter has a weighted blanket, it helps her fall asleep and chill out her anxiety when she feels overstimulated ect. It's a full size comforter, 15 pounds. I got it off amazon for like 50 bucks, so not too bad.

It's not weighted but one of the most comfortable comforters I have ever had and would buy another if needed in a heart beat. Yes expensive but man it's great! Breaths so no sweating but also not cold. Very hard to describe it and maybe someone else can chime in if they have one. I love ours!

Well I have been using my comforter and so far its been great as far as the weight goes its not nearly as heavy as my old down comforter but still as warm. The fabric is super smooth like silk and feels almost like it's wet to the touch. I keep the room temp on the cool side so I don't overheat but I don't think this comforter will be ideal for an all year use. Which isn't a big deal since I like my thin flannel blanket because it breathes much better. Like I said it was on the pricey side but if I can get a decade or more out of it like my old down comforter I will be pleased with the investment.
