You are racist and want everyone to drink oil if you say one bad thing. I think a majority on here just think logically. They are acting like they did nothing wrong yesterday and are playing the innocent card. I could care less about the oil company or tribe but this has gone too far.

Many question is who has the power and who can make them all leave? Also how could they do it? Any and all options on the table here.

We'd need land permission, protection from the dead body lawsuits and the ability to take off work.

Because I'd bust a M12 stock across an attacker's skull.

You can bank on the cops don't want a counter protest because it will just make there lives worse and their jobs harder. The thing is they don't need to leave their little hippie wannabe camp they just have to have enough authorities down there to make sure they cant interfere with the work going on. He'll let the watch if they want just make sure they stay on their side of the line.

It is hard to reason with a lot of people these days. They wrap themselves up in their protective bubble online and only look at sources that confirm their own biases.

From just a practical point of view is it time to look at re-routing this thing? Instead of Tioga- Williston- Watford- North of Standing. Rock. Go from Watford- Williston- Tioga and the to East of Standing Rock somewhere and pick up the original route? When private security guards are macing and turning dogs loose on people that broke through a fence and no arrests are made, (was law enforcement even there?) the state has lost control of the situation. How many months and at what will this cost if this drags out for months? Race relations are also taking a hit. Heaven forbid there is some kind of racial violence on either side as this escalates.

The pipeline can't be rerouted from watford to Williston because the pipe sizes are different. They coul reroute it to go further north across the Missouri but that would cost a ton for no reason. There is nothing wrong with the proposed route and these people are crying wolf. They are lucky they don't get thrown in jail for endangering their kids and not having them in school. These people are the scum of the earth and are showing it with their behavior.

This is how I have seen it as nothing has been done since the first week, I just can not wrap my head around why nothing has been done even from the Corp side since they illegally set up camp on corp land and have since destroyed that piece of prairie has been a huge trespassing party, where are the landowners and why have they not chimed in or tried protecting their own property here too by filing charges ect?

That stuff does not apply on the res. It's a different world.

The ground is the Cannonball company and its in their best interest to stay out of it. The route seemed a bit dumb to me at first because your asking for trouble going that close to a major river junction because you know some settlement had to have been there at some point. After finding out about the Northern Border line everything became clear and they chose the route to bring it in side by side with preexisting pipeline so as to not have the trouble scouting out new vergin ground. Well that back fired for now.....here are the two piplines route and it looks to me the last ten miles or so are pretty much a match.

They need to break out the billy clubs and quit letting the protesters halt thier work. Security needs to do its job and mase the shit out of these trespassers. Not one person interviewed was from here. After watching this video im suprised worse hasn't happened. Some people just need to be made an example out of. Me thinks if Ferguson was stopped in its tracks instead of telling the police to stand down this kind of crap wouldn't be happening. These groups are becoming dangerously brazen.

IMO the worst thing they can do is give in and reroute. They need to quit letting these people get thier way. Its like dealing with two year olds that don't get thier way. If you give into their crying over and over again you make things worse to the point where their crying about everything. This is where we are now. Make an example out of them and squash it before it snowballs. Ferguson was an example of letting them get their way. Which I still can't wrap my head around. It lead to a sting of violent protests costing billions of dollars of tax payer money. Lead to the BLM movement and numerous police shootings(killings).

can't evaluate situations...

can't judge...

can't punish...

can't train...

can't discern right from wrong...

can't enforce rules because of what others might think or say...

your average rec league coach would get fired for just a couple of these, but when the govt is involved...

absolutely no leadership...

I raise my hand to join a number of you "Patriots" to halt these low-lifes in their tracks. Cross that fence and I have enuff 'personal protection against assault' to ward off a couple dozen people from any distance, up to within 1" of my being. GO AHEAD, MAKE MY DAY!

Protesters Including Presidential Candidate Spray Paint Construction Equipment

Dr. Jill Stein spray painted the blade of a bulldozer

Protesters including a presidential candidate spray painted equipment this morning used in the construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline.
The protest began around 8 a.m. when workers showed up a a construction site two miles east of Highway 6 on County Road 135.
Workers left as around 350 protesters gathered at the site. No incidents were reported between workers and protesters.
Presidential candidate Dr. Jill Stein of the Green Party spray painted the the blade of a bulldozer. Two other pieces of construction machinery were also spray painted.
One woman from Pine Ridge had attached herself to a piece of equipment. Others climbed on the equipment.
Law enforcement on scene is keeping its distance from the protest site and a KX reporter on scene says he did not see anyone arrested.
In a Facebook post the Morton County Sheriff's Department says it responded to the site to find a broken fence, a protester attached to heavy machinery and equipment vandalized.

What does this tell any other group --- go ahead and commit crimes --- ND / Morton County will not do anything. I personally think the oil line should go under the river at a place where the river is the narrowest and buy out any house within the prescribed footage -- however I really have a problem with trespassing and destruction of property or intimidation. In other words our government is not going to protect us from crimes caused by groups. MN did a good job with the blm bunch that were blocking roadways. They dealt with it and it was over like now.

Do to what is happening -- I know for a fact my parents/relatives will not set a foot in the casino anymore due to fear. They see this on TV and it turns them off.
