I've had Justin's and Tony Lamas and really liked both. Current pair are Dan Post and really like them. The Ariat's just don't seem to fit my feet worth a darn for what ever reason but they do make a good boot as well.

I've got a pair of Justin's that I've gone through 4 sets of soles on. They are pretty worn out but super comfy still. My current everyday pair is a lower heal Ariat. My wife bought me a fancy pair of Tony Lama's assuming they would be for occasions that its not ok to have mud on your feet. They seem to be well made but I don't wear them often as the heal is to high for me.

Sometimes you gotta strut like a peacock in front of everyone to let them know who's the boss.

Most of those guys are what I call urban cowboys. Barely play in the dirt, but think they are a real cowboy. I think you need to reevaluate life when a pair of boots cost more than any pair of your wife's.........

You have to grow a giant beer gut and buy a snap button western shirt with a bandana as well.

You must not be familiar with Dan Post foot apparel.

Boulet boots all the way, kind of dressy and very practical, around $300 a pair. I get bull hide lowers and calf hide uppers, can't beat them for comfort and durability.

my hats-off to anyone that can get around in the winter with a pair of cowboy boots. Everytime I try they go back into the closet damn near kill myself with them in snow. Just never got use to them.

Tony Lamas are my favorite. Own 4 pair. Only 1 pair in their Signature Series though. Those are for extra special occasions!

Totally forget about Boulet's. I had a pair and wore the crap out of them. Super comfortable and held your heel really well.

double H. little spendier and take a little longer to break in but you will have a hell of a time wearing them out.

Rubber soled Ariats are my winter go-to. My Justins get put away in the winter because I can't skate.
