For the nieve and uneducated, here is a map of every section line in ND. The section lines are 66 feet wide. These were setup in 1785 by the PLSS......Not saying there are roads or that they are passable, just saying the public access is there!

Have you ever been out to that part of ND? Go try to follow a section line out there. Better bring some climbing and repelling gear with ya!

When’s the last time you have been to Montana or Idaho they are doing everything in there power to keep the fires down. Tough when Mother Nature says fuck you your burning.
Both states just last week, sorry to have not been so insightful on the geography all around me.
I too live directly in the badlands, spend my days in the very hard to fight areas that you speak off, very well aware. My point is that the west coast states are very retarded when it comes to a ton of what should be common knowledge in preventing these enormous situations. However obvious this may be, arguing against everything is a much gooder way of communicating.

We must save the piping plover, must, regardless of the cost to humans and our society. The critter is higher on the food chain, and they burn much better too.

Yeah screw piping plovers. It’s a huge pain in the ass to have to keep our pontoons off those 10 or so sandbars and have to drink beer on the other hundreds. Conservation is for pussies. We should have no regard for anything but humans and industry.

Ya some of those states have created problems but to just lump every state into that group is disingenuous alot of those states not named California take every measure they can and stuff still burns up. The fact is most could really care less its just an easy shot to take at the opposing political party. More worried about trying to find a gotcha moment than find solutions to anything.

I dont know where the piping plover fits into forest fires but you wont find a bigger critic of the COE than me.
