KDM do you feed corn or corn screenings? LB

Whole corn baby. I tried the screenings and they just colored the ground. It was too small for the deer to consume. The birds on the other hand thought that was the most wonderful stuff they'd ever seen and swarmed it. I do add some wheat every now and then for the deer and there is always the alfalfa bale for them to gnaw on.

out and about with work I saw several bull moose that still had their antlers last Friday. Seeing a lot of deer herded up and most of the antlers are gone.

Blading roads where my wing gets down into the grass on the shoulders and I roll up a little dirt the partridge and pheasants move right in so must be some seeds or frozen bugs they are finding. Funny thing this year with the pheasants is it seems its either a bunch of hens or roosters not too many mixed flocks like in past years.

I bet there will be a lot of winter killed lakes this spring as well
