Worms for ice fishing ?

I was either dreaming or sleep reading on here the other night and I woke up with a question, Would an earthworm or small crawler threaded on small hook and pinched off about the size of a wax worm catch anything ?

Don't see why not...especially on a flashy spoon-no different than pinching off a minnow head for the scent right?

Yep it works just as good as a minnow.
