Wyoming resident shed hunting head start?

Can't you just cruise around on a 4-wheeler? Seems like I could spot sheds pretty easily that way?

Vehicles are not allowed off the trail on public lands . Some of the areas on May 1st still have too much snow to get around . I know some ranchers in WY that collect antlers in the spring and make thousands easy but they can get around everywhere driving their UTV!

Elk antlers are much bigger and weigh quite a bit more.
