for chicken/dairy barns right?

Yes, good for indoor and outdoor, food/feed handling buildings. They say it's very safe, but I still try my hardest not to get any on me or breathe the dust. It puts a big-time hurting on any insects. A nest will be wiped out overnight.

Here's a picture of Tommyboy volunteering to spray some in the hole of a tree nest at my house last week. I actually still owe him a case of Bush Light for doing this. They were dropping out of the nest minutes after he sprayed this in there. And these were those damn black and white piebald wasps. I had three other ground nests around my yard I did myself.

Why do people always have to add "Cummins" if they are referring to their Dodge diesel pickup?

If the Ford or Chevy fail and they will.

I have a 97 Dodge Cummings 3/4 ton five speed 4.10 gears positive traction all the way around and a Ram on the hood.
Just took it out of storage yesterday as my 1/2 ton Dodge handles the boat and will change the oil tonight. Pleasure drive for the next month and then back in storage.

Just thought I would mention it in case one never knows.

Guess a green tractor will work also. So next time. db-2

Our extension office had an insect specialist in today as these bastards are a problem up here too. He said the active ingredient in the tempo dust which is the same active in the crop pesticide Baythroid is the most effective. The dust will be introduced into the colony by others when they touch it. The liquid or foam type insecticides dry up and only kill the bastards that contact it when it is wet.
We have tried Demon WP, Talstar Professional, RAID foam, and other knock off aerosal type cans with no success. Will be ordering in some Tempo Dust. They are relentless cocksuckers that's for sure.

Yes, the extension agent said for best results you must wear:
White Sunglasses, flat brimmed hat, rock revival jeans, and an affliction shirt.

is that nest in town?

if not, 3 quick slams with 8 shot from 15 yds (preferably an M2)

seriously - total devastation - any not yet dead won't rebuild

I have done that on winter when it's cold. I can see why you could get away with it any time of year because of the total devastation.
Every few years I tear one down in winter and save it. A pinch of wasp nest between powder and ball, or powder and any greased muzzle loader projectile will keep your powder from becoming grease contaminated. It will not catch fire like paper or dry cloth. I don't know if it burns up in the barrel or gets blasted out as fine dust.

No. I am out of town. And yes. It's as big as it looks. Funny thing... I think the chicken bait may have actually worked finally. Yesterday they were thick. Tonight I got the 2 cans of foam I had left... thought I was out. Mixed up a sprayer of tempo. Got a little ladder. And attacked right at dark. I didn't really notice any outside. But, didn't expect to at dark. Put, a dose of foam on em to start with and expected to see some start falling out. Never saw one. Then I shoved my tempo spray nozzle right up their asshole for a good 30 seconds. Then stepped back and waited to foam em some more. I never saw a single one fall out.
