Went to work at 6 this morning. Lots of geese flying over in the dark.

Going for four days with a friend over east side of state hope we get a good push

Non stop flights of cranes and specks thursday

Should be a pretty good spectacle the next week or so. Not supposed to get above 20 with lows of 5 to 10 in southern sask after saturday with some snow. Not a whole lot warmer in ND either next week.

Lots of dark geese moving last night

We got a huge push overnight mallards went from not much to thousands

Any birds sticking around or is the water freezing up?

Little places down here had some ice but windy enough to keep open. We get 20 inches of snow on Thursday and then cold might be sol.

There are thousands and thousands of snow geese in the air and on the ground just north of Max right now. And two helicopters, but they may shoot back.

Dang, I just looked at the weather forecast for the week. These birds will all be in Nebraska shortly. Yuck!

set up for honkers but they didnt play. The specks wanted in though we got to watch them land in the decoys after we had our limit.

I think we are F'ed again boys. Big flyover in the making. Put my hunting stuff away today and am flying to Texas for the winter on Tuesday!

Found a bunch of honkers but since it was so cold they didnt feed till afternoon did scratch out a couple honkers and on crazy snow. Lots of geese still around so hopping we get a few more in might have to head to Pierre they are getting loaded i would assume with this cold.

lotta birds left in ND. were heading out early until this recent cold the birds we are see are heading out late afternoon again . decoying has been pretty good with the snow
