I had my net in a pvc pipe that held it up in the air. Kind of made it look cool but it never needed to be used as I’m not a good fisherman. Fished my entire life and hard for many years and have never cracked a walleye over 6 pounds. Most of my fish can be swung into boat.

My net sits in a rod holder mounted specifically for it just in front of the windshield on the passenger side of the boat. Readily accessible to anyone in the bow or the back when fishing. For storage it rides between the passenger seat and the gunwale. May even be there when fishing at times if it's just me in the boat.
