MT Elk scouting trip

My brother and I are heading out to MT on a scouting trip next weekend. Anticipation is high. We have been planning the trip, working out and shooting our bows. We have schedule time off from work the last week of September to go hunting. Between planning this hunting trip and fishing every weekend, it does get much better than that.

If you need anyone to scout for you, I live in Billings and enjoy just scouting. Out right now scouting for some family. Don't have an elk tag, so why not right?! Good luck!

BGH, I see you are from Mott/Regent. I am from Dickinson and my brother used to teach in Mott. That would be great if you could give me a report on what you find. Thanks

Scouting trip was nice. Saw some great country, a few deer, two black bear, very few elk. I hope we find them when we go back to hunt. MT does have antelope, maybe I should have put in for one of those tags. O-well...I guess I will fish until bow season starts.
