This is funny. IMO ND is WAY too friendly to oil businesses, unfortunately they have our government bought and paid for. Kinda like how big corps control much of what happens in DC.

Maybe you can enlighten me?? I cant seem to find many untruths in this story.

Like it or not the big oil industry runs ND. And our so-called leaders in Bismarck are licking the boots of those companies, The whole lack of teeth in the regulations are proof of that.

Oliver's story hits the nail on the head. The fact that there's no ethics board is insane. We should also be ashamed that a Brit running a news show out of NYC has to present the other side of this story. Where's the Forum or Tribune on these issues??

After Dalrymple came to office north dakota news on the oil patch was no longer top stories anymore. Out of site out of mind. Now Fargo news is where it's at. I think there was a topic started by eyexer or meelosh on FBO that talked about what I just said.

just kidding

seems kinda horrifying to me that "Fargo is where it's at" - yuck

I think oil prices are why the oil patch is now a yawner

don't hear about ag stories every three minutes these days either

everybody likes the growth/winner stories - par or worse is a loser story

Yep. Just look at the campaign contributions to Oilrymple and Stenehjem. Stenehjem will likely be our next governor because he'll basically get a blank check from the oil industry so they can keep him on the industrial commission. Democracy at it's finest!
