My 2022 North Dakota Rifle Deer hunt was quite a bit more difficult that I expected. Deer numbers seemed to be down, hunter numbers seemed way up and the wind was so heavy that the deer just weren't moving. The season was full of ups and downs, both literally and figuratively, and finally after 40 miles hiked I was able to seal the deal on a beautiful north-central North Dakota mule deer buck!
