Wife and I are doing the obstacle course race next Saturday, she signs me up for 5 and 10 k's runs all the time so I signed us both up for this as a bit of revenge and freaked her out but she is going to be a good sport and do it with me. I signed us up early so as to get into the first of five or six waves so we can make the mud slurry instead of crawling through everyone else's sweat and tears.

Anyone else going to participate or just observe?

Too fat and old but thanks anyway. I'll stick to fishing.

They have a warped wall. Always wanted to see if I could make it up one of those.

Did it last year and it was a blast. Was going to again this year but it didn't work out so I'll be skipping this year but will certainly look to do it again next year.

I believe I'll stick to rubbing my body with chicken liver and inserting a hot coathanger in my penis beside a shallow slough at dusk.

Was an awesome day. I finished 18 overall of 702 people and finished 18 of 329 males and 2nd in my age range of 40-49 with a time of 45:09.
My wife finished 51 of 702 overall and 3rd overall female of 372 and first in 40-49 age range. She is an over achiever too, she ran a 5k earlier in the day and took first in that race.
