I have a 07 see doo GTI 4 stroke, over the weekend it wouldn't start. When you hit the start button you hear a click from the front of the machine by the battery. Battery is good, no fuses are popped. Does anyone know if there is a starter relay that could go bad? or any other ideas? Thanks

Yeah, you might want to start a topic on a PWC forum. Anglers in general would like to see jet skis be removed from the face of the earth. That said, I will still try to help. Your battery connections could be loose or corroded. Clean cable and battery post area with wire brush and make sure connections are tight.

If you here a click that sounds like the relay. Try pulling the lanyard and starting it see if it makes the same noise. The ecu on those like to go out.

Thanks for the ideas, already cleaned the cables and tightened. I will need to check the relay. It started Friday not Saturday, it was frustrating.

I understand what wags is saying, the only reason I have them is for the boys and mom are tired of fishing, to have fun and I can fish more....

Does the machine chirp twice when you connect the DESS key (kill switch)?

Try jump starting it with cables and another battery. If it starts then you know it's either the battery or the connection and not a relay or the starter.

Jet skis are fun but it seems that common sense goes right out the window when one sits on them. there is a bazzilion mother f@#king acres on lake oahe i dont care how fast the jet skit goes 15 feet away from where i am fishing.

I would say the start button is bad if I had to guess had the same thing happen on our bobcat after a year of chasing deadends we put a $20 switch in that took 2 mins to install.
