Time for tear gas, a different form of encampment for incarceration, and multiple fines. Then, bring the massive lawsuit against the SRST for millions of dollars for punitive damages.

Problem with that is, every penny you sue them for will come out of your own pocket.

The thing that gets me is.........The only response these protesters have is their line....."Well when the pipeline breaks and you're all drinking oil.........Can anybody explain to me how the oil companies will just turn their backs on a spill that COULD POTENTIALLY happen? They play the same card everytime. Well when it breaks and you are all drinking oil........This is the type of logic these people are using. Of course there would be no containment, no cleanup etc........Good lord these protesters are insane.

He'll even if they did nothing the water would clear up pretty fast as the oil evaporates/breaks down and through the natural action of the current dispersing the ever shrinking amount of oil over a progressively bigger area. When the pipeline in MT broke a year and a half ago dumping 1,200 barrels of oil into the Yellowstone River 5 miles upstream of Glendive the city's water cleared back to EPA standards in less then a week and that spill was under the ice making it very difficult to do any real cleanup and cold water and ice both slow the breakdown of the oil but still was over fast there.

ya... the oil companies goal is to pay to drill, pay to pump, pay to dump into a pipeline, and then pay for a spill to pump it out of a pipe they are paying to send the oil to a refiner, just to piss people off...

sounds legit...

Good example of what you are saying is in the Gulf when the oil well blew out it is widely know and studied now that the oil did not do much for damage other than where it washed ashore and killed habitat there but on the open sea where they covered it with all the synthetic chemical dispersants which is what polluted the water and then caused the oil to sink and coat the ocean floor is what caused the damage rather than letting the oil dissipate and degrade naturally now it sits on the ocean floor for eternity causing dead zones.

However, Killary is going to be President and give them the federal funds to keep her elective voice among the minority populations, just like the Clinton Foundation as a "Pay to Play" basis. At least the extra federal funds will go to Morton County and be able to put a dent in the costs incurred. Can you imagine how much this will cost the residents of Mandan??? Look at a population list of Morton county and once you're outside of Mandan the next largest community is 800 in Glen Ullin. Where do you think the county will assess those funds for payment of all those other costs (i.e. law enforcement overtime, housing, food, equipment rental, operations center, flight surveillance, etc.)

That cost will be $3million by October and it's NOT in the budget. If you live on the west side of the BigMo you better think about what your 2017 tax bill will be.

I like the idea of a counter-protest population heading south as 'patriots'.

I love listing to all of them bitch about how cannonball will be devastated by a spill and there water supply destroyed because of how close the line is to the town. I'm not sure how many of you have been to cannonball but it's more or less a random neighborhood in the middle of nowhere. It has a small school and a pow wow ground but doesn't have much in the way of any businesses and no main street or downtown so to speak. You want to know what else they don't have.....A FUCKING WATER TREATMENT PLANT!!!! The nearest water intake is 26 river miles downstream at Yates not exactly next door!

Thus why the governor declared an emergency so it could free up State funding options. Bismarck cops and burleigh County sheriff are down there in Morton County helping out as well.

What else cannonball has is a place with 30 dumpsters but no one can actually put garbage in them.

But if you explain this to them they'll turn it around and make us racists because we have not provided sufficient water supply in the town of Cannonball (chances are they have no idea where their water is coming from anyway)...

This is exactly what I was trying to get at, they have absolutely no idea how any of this works, they just want to be a pain in the ass.

Stella and rum are tested at the factory for purity. Safety first as they say.
