I saw this on Lakeview Lodges's Facebook page. No description on the photos but someone asked "How big was the muskie?" but no answer as of this posting. If this is a tiger muskie, don't they have to be 48" to keep? Looks pretty long.

Lol. Nice fish. Too bad it met the knife. I think its been a while sincr they have stocked them in DL. So, they are becoming rare. But, i could be wrong.

To be fair, I assume they were tip up fishing and that one might have been gut/gill hooked. If it was, I would have kept it as well, but it would be on the wall and NOT in the pickle jar. I just hope it met the length requirements.

I can't see craving up a fish that big on any body of water, plenty of small ones if you want a meal.

What does MM say?

I think it might be close to 48, but would think a guy would be smarter than posting a pic if it wasn't, unless like stated he is a sconi

Unless that dude is Andre the Giant, I'd put it closer to 40"

Pictures can be quite deceiving. The picture of him holding it by the door makes it look in the low 40's, but the tail is facing away from the camera which makes a big difference. The picture of it on the table makes it look a lot bigger. A 48 inch tiger is very rare, however, they just don't grow as big a pure strains.
